LOCOG
Unifying The World
- Athletes push the boundaries of human potential.
- Nations celebrate athleticism and cultural exchange.
The London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) prioritized the creation of a resilient core infrastructure to cater to the operational requirements of the Olympic and Paralympic Games. This encompassed the design, implementation, and maintenance of a robust framework capable of effectively supporting various critical functions throughout the duration of the events.
We architected, deployed, and managed a resilient core infrastructure for the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) using Microsoft, Citrix, and Cisco technologies. This infrastructure was designed to meet the operational demands throughout the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Key accomplishments included integrating Microsoft technologies, such as Active Directory, Exchange, and SharePoint, to centralize identity management, facilitate secure communication, and enhance collaboration among LOCOG staff, volunteers, and stakeholders. Additionally, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops were deployed to deliver virtualized applications and desktops, providing flexibility and accessibility across various devices and locations.
